NICOLE DUGGAR, MA, LCPC, CADC
Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor in the state of Illinois. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University. Nicole is also a member of the Illinois Counseling Association and is a volunteer therapist for The Soldier’s Project. Nicole has experience working with children with behavior disorders of childhood, as well as adults and adolescents dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Nicole is a practical, effective and compassionate therapist. She has over ten years of experience helping people improve the quality of their lives by dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, self esteem, phase of life issues, substance abuse, anger, relationship issues and grief. She has provided psychotherapy across multiple modalities in community mental health, hospital, and private practice. She has experience working with children with mild Autism utilizing behavior modification therapy. In her work at Thresholds, The Larkin Center and Maine Center she provided crisis management, assessment, group, individual, couples and family therapy. She continued to build expertise in family and group therapy while at Elmhurst Memorial. In her private practice, she continues to offer insight and feedback while providing a safe environment for people to work on a wide array of life issues.
Nicole offers individual, family and couples therapy for children, adolescents and adults.
