KATHERINE PALUSZEK, MA, LCPC
Katherine Palusek has a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University, Chicago, IL and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Katherine’s clinical experience has been with a broad range of psychological disorders and age groups. She has had extensive experience with children and adolescents with attachment disorders and family trauma. Many of these clients were connected to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services through contracts with private social service agencies. Katherine also taught at Moraine Valley Community College, Palos Hills, IL as part of their adjunct faculty in the Department of New Student Retention. She has been trained in the area of play therapy and family systems. For the last several years she has broadened her clinical experience with adults with life transition problems, marital and anger management issues.
Katherine specializes in working with Geriatrics, LGBTQ issues, Self-Injury, Eating Disorders, DUI Counseling, OCD, ADD/ADHD, Christian Counseling, Addictions, Anger Management, Grief, Anxiety, Depression, Domestic Violence, Parenting Counseling, PTSD, Stress Management and Women’s Issues.
Katherine provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
