JENNIFER CURTIN, MS, LCPC
Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois as well as a National Certified Counselor. She received her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University and has done continuing education in the areas of Trauma and Attachment, Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Jennifer has spent her career working in private practice. She believes in the transformative power of the therapeutic bond and practices from family systems, psychodynamic and cognitive theoretical frameworks. Jennifer is a passionate and relatable therapist whose approach is warm and authentic. Throughout her internship and clinical practice, Jennifer has developed skills in working with children, especially those living with ADHD, Mild Autism, Behavioral Problems and Anxiety as well as their families. Her other areas of expertise are working with families of addiction and/or mental illness, couples counseling, anxiety/depression, mood issues and group psychotherapy.
Prior to attending graduate school, Jennifer worked in the Marketing and Advertising industry for 10 years. She also holds the position of Director of Marketing at Leyden DuPage Counseling Service. Jennifer offers psychotherapy to children 5 and over, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
