angelaconstanzaAngela is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. Angela has clinical experience with assessment via psychological, career, emotional and physical functioning instruments as well as in administering counseling.

Angela’s approach is deeply rooted in integrative, systems-based and research informed approaches to psychotherapy. She has experience with clients across a broad range of presenting issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, couples and family conflict, transition, parenting relationships, emotional dis-regulation, LGBT issues, sexual and physical abuse and interpersonal difficulties. She has completed her clinical work at the Kenneth Young Center and the The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Her clinical expertise spans psychoanalytic and cognitive theoretical frameworks and includes individual, family, couples and group therapy. She has run groups for anger management and for mental illness/substance abuse. Angela has experience working across socio-economic, cultural and ethnic populations and understands how to work within different cultural norms.

sergiogarciaSergio is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. He received his Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University. With a culturally sensitive approach, Sergio provides psychotherapy in English and in Spanish.

Sergio spent the majority of his career providing therapeutic services in community mental health settings. He works with mood disorders, developmental/behavioral disorders; family issues and has experience in partial hospitalization and outpatient environments. While working at the Kenneth Young Center, Sergio provided comprehensive assessments; created collaborative individualized treatment plans with children, adolescents and their families and offered individual psychotherapy across the life span. His ability to effectively case manage across a client’s entire care team is key to his successes. Sergio has worked individually and with groups utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In his private practice, he approaches each client on a case-by-case basis employing a holistic and eclectically focused therapeutic approach.

Sergio is a member of the American Counseling Association, The Illinois Association for Multicultural Counseling and the Illinois College Counseling Association.

Sergio offers individual, family and couples therapy for children, adolescents and adults.
